Description

A metallurgical furnace, more commonly referred to as a furnace, is a device used to heat and melt metal ore to remove gangue. The heat energy to fuel a furnace may be supplied directly by fuel combustion, by electricity such as the electric arc furnace, or through induction heating in induction furnaces.
April 2023: As per the European Commission, it adopted the European Climate Law, which raises the EU’s target of reducing net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 (from the current 40%) and legally binding climate neutrality by 2050.
